The following is just my personal experience that I have learned in the last three months.
Dublin, Ireland – Europe’s new Silicon Valley. Why?

Many multinationals like Google, Facebook, Apple etc. have shifted their headquarters to Ireland due to taxes. They are much lower here in Ireland compared to other countries. Certainly that will give Ireland new jobs to be filled by many non-Irish people. This is a good option, but the problem of accommodation is facing new doors. No new housing is created and existing apartments or rooms are leased for too high rents.
The topic of taxes also affects the employees: When I received my first payroll, I was very pleasantly surprised. In Ireland there are two tax rates of 20% and 42%. For example, if you are unmarried, have no children and earn up to €34,550 a year. Your salary will only be taxed with the rate of 20%. That looks kinda different in Germany
.
On the other hand, you have to keep in mind that in my opinion the costs for life (i.e. food and free-time activities) are more expensive. Of course, it always depends on your life-style 😊
